STEP 1:
LISTEN TO THE AUDIO
My classmate, Sharon, was caught cheating. She said she didn't have time for studying last night. She thought she was going to fail the test. Our teacher scolded her and sent her to the principal's office. He was not affected by her crying. This was not the first time she was caught cheating. She has an excuse every time. Last time, her excuse was forgetting about the test. I think the teacher is getting tired of her lying. She is good at making up excuses. This time our teacher involved the principal. They phoned her parents. Her parents hurried to school. We could see them through the window during recess. They didn't look happy. Sharon is not a bad student. She is actually really creative. She has a great talent for drawing. She shows us a different picture each day. Our teacher always compliments her artwork, but he also wants her to concentrate on learning. The teacher and the principal are going to give her one more chance. If she cheats again, she will get suspended from school. She may even have to repeat the year. They are going to continue with monitoring her situation. I hope she stops cheating. She has good potential to be a great student.
