Phrases: Adjective + Preposition Combinations Followed by Gerunds

Adjectives are words that describe or modify nouns. Prepositions are words that link a noun, pronoun, or noun phrase to some other part of the sentence. Prepositions can be tricky for English learners. There is no definite rule or formula for choosing a preposition. "To", "of", "about", "with", "for", and "from" are most commonly used between adjectives and gerunds.
