Connects words, phrases, or clauses that are independent or equal using "how", "when", "where", or "while".

How - the way in which
When - at that time
Where - in the place
While - during the time

  • When I came in the room, everyone looked at me.
  • He didn't tell anyone where he was going.
  • Please tell me where you are going.
